What People Say about Ritmo De Havana?

Being back in Sydney I realize just how lucky we are to have such awesome salsa teacher in Dubai. I thought the Sydney scene was good - Dubai is far better, and I love being a part of that.

“You know, Cuba may be good and the dancers there may be good too, but sincerely, the energy you give out and your style of teaching and leading is just superb and incomparable! I give thanks for who you are! It really is an honour knowing you and being taught by you!”

David Sharashenidze

I have been trying to learn for years and could just not get it..after being to Del Piero's course I found my self dancing and enjoying what salsa is all about. The words will never be enough to explain about the learning process one has to experience and the mind set will change.

Del Piero's Salsa classes changed my life style , in a very short time I started dancing & enjoying the cuban nights & music , I like very much the way that Del Piero uses in mixing between learning the dance step & knowing the culture behind it , its so much interesting and it drove me slowly to know more about the cuban dance world. Del Piero has a very nice spirit and sense of humor in the classes as well , which adds a relaxed atmosphere, he is fun & stricked when he has to be , he is very honest & direct in his evaluations , and he is very sensitive to his students feelings in his parties. Thank you Del Piero for all what you are doing ..... YOU ROCK!

One of the best things about his classes is that you're not learning from a so-called dance instructor. Del Piero is, himself, a true-to-form Cuban dancer. He speaks it, breathes it, and moves it. And he is more than happy to share his passion for both the dance as well as the culture with his students. He doesn't merely teach you the moves. On the contrary, he helps you find the music and the rhythm inside you, and along with the cultural influences of the movement, he encourages you to become a part of the entire experience. It's an experience you will never forget. You come out of it not just as a Cuban salsa dancer, but as someone with a better understanding and appreciation of the Cuban culture, and how this art form got to be as famous, loved, and passionate as it has through the years

Del Piero has been one of the greatest teachers for me, he teaches his class with passion and excitment everytime. These classes have changed my life and the way i am, has brought me into a new light. Everytime i enter these classes i am just so relaxed and i forget any stress in my life. Thank you Del Piero for such great classes and for being such a good friend. God Bless you

1st and most of all i would really really like to thank you for your efforts, teaching, and patience in the class. You know I seriously though before i join your classes that i am a hopeless case in dancing, 3 weeks after taking your classes i can definitely say i can be a star!! not that i think I'm good or anything but the actual reason is i know i have a professor who is willing to give his best to his students, a professor who knows how to keep us motivated and smiling and most of all a professor who is honest to his students and wanting to see them giving it there best. Thank you very much, I am definitely lucky to have you as my instructor

It was a great pleasure being in your Salsa course. I like your way of teaching, you make the students live the dance and not just do the steps technically. you have a story for every move that has to do with Cuban culture and the reason behind it ... this way, when we do the move, we know and understand why we do it, instead of just a combination of moves to creat a show

Your workshop was one of the best classes of the whole congress!! people like you who are so friendly and have so much knowledge are great ambassadors for salsa!

Norman, after the Int. Cuban Salsa Congress in UK / Wales

The high light of the British Congress for me was meeting and working with Del Piero, from Dubai. His approach and passion for Cuban Salsa was so refreshing , and i was really moved by his understanding of the Cuban dance style, and spirit. Dancing with him was a real joy, as he has all the soul ,wit and confidence to make you feel like a 19 year old Cuban chica- despite being 5 months pregnant !. Dancing with him felt safe, fluid and fun. In class Del Piero was so professional , and keen to work on detail, which is so important when dancing "Son". He is a dedicated ambassador of the Cuban dance , and for that i salute him and wish him all the success he deserves. I am looking forward to working with him next time, in Cuba !

We found in this man the flame that we saw in Spain. He is so animated by his teachings, so involved. We felt privileged and special. We noticed that all those he was coaching felt the same. His method involved making us FEEL salsa and not only DANCE salsa. His generous character combined with his passion for salsa and brilliant dancing and teaching skills made us enjoy it and come for more, and we will follow wherever he goes

Ziad - Salsa teacher, foundr of Salsa Lebanon www.salsa-lebanon.com

Everybody that Del Piero teaches is truly fortunate! This is because they will get perfect tuition in the core of Salsa which is the most important thing, otherwise mistakes are made that can be very difficult to rectify later once a bad habit has set in! Del cares about the dance and about his students and will not let them make mistakes and give them superb guidance which is essential for a good grounding and most of all.......enjoyment of the dance

Debbie Baker , UK

I cant thank you enough because finally my dream is coming true. It means the world to me that my husband is sharing this magical experience with me thanks to you, he felt comfortable enough to agree to go for our third session tonight. We are having fun laughing at each other. He did try it before (6 months back ) hated the whole thing because the other teacher was too pushy on our first lesson asked me to drop the idea of him going to salsa with me!. You are truly a wonderful instructor. Now i can say i am enjoying the classes to the optimum limit because my partner is with me!

Del Piero's passion to salsa was what opened my eyes to the difference between dancing salsa by putting moves together and living the moment of a cuban salsa. He is an inspiration to me to look for my passion in life and my inspiration to learn Cuban salsa the right way from the person that lives for it. Thank you for sharing your passion with us, with me

Joining your course Del Piero was the best thing I have done this year,,you gave all of us a great gift by teaching us how to feel the music and enjoy it more! Now I can without a doubt understand what you meant when you used to say people should see the music from our moves.. I was happily surprised to see the way we all progressed so much,,could hardly believe that we are the same people that joined 6 weeks back and all we could think of is getting our steps and counting right, not thinking about anything else except 1,2,3,PAUSE,5,6,7,PAUSE :) Nowadays, every 60 minutes in the class feel as if we are in Cuba, Your passion for Cuban Salsa eliminated the long distance to Cuba and brought it all the way to Dubai. I guess words would never express the way you have changed our lives and made us happier .. Trust me walking to your class, made me feel that I am in a whole new world where the word "STRESS" has no existence in the dictionary... In addition to being "One of a kind" instructor you never fail in drawing a smile on people's face :)

"When you talk about Salsa in Dubai, everyone knows Del Piero. I did not understand at first why he is so famous but after the first lesson i now know. I was very impressed with his teaching technique and with the passion that he does it. He makes it look so easy and fun so that you don't get bored. Also his attention to details. Del Piero’s class is the best thing I have done lately and it completely changed my life. I do not feel that awkward that I thought I would, because he welcomes you with a genuine approach and the people I’ve met here are so amazing. We all have the same interest and it is so beautiful to share the same passion and to share a friendship. I’ve learnt that I do not necessarily need the ‘right partner’ to enjoy dancing and waiting for a year to do something that I love, was a bit silly. Del Piero not only teaches you how to dance but also teaches you how to be a free spirit and enjoy life through music. I’ve never seen anyone doing something with such passion. Thank you for being such an inspiration and touching my life and others. We love you...''

"The classes was amazing! Del Piero is a genius , i start changhing all my concepts about Salsa!"

Amer Bendar

I love the way Del Piero teaches.  He doesn't simply teach moves or the flash about salsa.  What he teaches IS salsa.  He teaches history, music, culture, and passion.  As an educator myself, I recognize in Del Piero so much that truly appeals to me.  He is a gentle teacher who cares not that his students just look good on a dance floor, but that they are competent and are grounded in what salsa is - its roots, philosophy, and the culture that surrounds it.  He peppers his lessons with such inspirational thoughts that make you, the student, want to be better; not only to learn a step but to feel the music and to engage with it.  He is not interested in the flash that lures many to learn to dance, but instead with the feeling, the sentiment, the emotion, the beauty of the music.  As a teacher, a dancer, and simply as a human being, Del Piero is very genuine.
